Steve Jobs, Apple's Visionary Founder Dies at 56


Apple's chairman & former CEO, Steve jobs, who made a revolution in the world of Computer & Internet died on Wednesday (5th-Oct-2011).


In a statement issued by Apple said, "We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today."

Since 2004 he was battling with the pancreatic cancer. He underwent a liver transplant in 2009 and from January this year he was absent from public eye and finally resigned as CEO six weeks ago due to serious health problem.

After hearing this shocking news from Apple, immediate outpouring of sadness sparked from the world leaders & other businessmen including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates & Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerburg.

Steve Jobs gave the world the Iphone, ipod & Ipad has stepped down as CEO of Apple & handed over the responsibility to Tim Cook.

Steven Jobs was born on Feb. 24, 1955 to an unmarried couple Joanne Simpson and Abdulfattah Jandali. Later he was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs of Los Altos, Calif.

In 1976 Steve started the company 'Apple' with high school friend Steve Wozniak in his parents' garage. Next year they made their first creation ‘Apple I, a computer without a case, keyboard or monitor. It went to become  very popular and by age of 25, Jobs earning touched $100 million.






 In 1985 he was forced out from Apple by CEO John Sculley. In one of his Stanford speech Jobs said "What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating. I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life."

However he returned to Apple in 1997 when Apple was in very poor state and about to sell off. Over next 14 years under Steve Job's magic the world saw Apple's high rise and creativity. When Jobs resigned finally 6 weeks ago Apple grew into the most valuable technology company in the world with a market value of $351 billion.

Steve Jobs once said, ""Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything - all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important."

He is so right! We will miss you Steve Jobs!
