As per some media report Mumbai civic authorities have penalised batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar over his new home, a five-storeyed bungalow at Perry Cross Road in Bandra (West). Tendulkar was fined Rs. 4.35 lakh.
The Chief Engineer of BMC, Mr. R Kukanur, said, "Sachin will be penalised Rs 4.35 lakh for inhabiting a house before getting the OC. It was due in procedure and he would have got the OC in the next four days."
BMC to send a notice under Section 350 (A) of the BMC Act to master blaster Sachin Tendulkar for occupying premises without an OC. This is for violating the law which says no one can enter a flat or building without receiving an OC for it.
