A day before the creator Steve Jobs death, Apple iPhone 4s was sold in 200,000 quantity at AT&T store in the first 12 hours of its launch.
iPhone 4, however was the fastest-selling mobile in Apple's history, with 1.7 million devices sold in the first three days.
Market analysts are predicting that hardware updates and software upgradation, inclusion of a well-reviewed voice-recognition software system attract buyers to go for iPhone 4s.
The iPhone 4S will hit store shelves across the world on October14.
