Chetan Bhagat's next book is slated to be released during Diwali 2011.
After a little hesitation about releasing the book during Diwali because Sharukh Khan's movie "Ra.one" is slated to be released the same time, Bhagat seems to have decided to go ahead with the release of his book the same time because "It's quite clear. No effect. Different mediums. Space for both. Diwali it is."
Chetan Bhagat has authored four books so far: "Five Point Someone – What not to do at IIT!" (2004), "One Night @ the Call Centre" (2005), "The 3 Mistakes of My Life" (2008), and and "2 States: The Story of My Marriage" (2009).
All the four continue to be best-sellers.
Chetan Bhagat put to rest all speculation about the film adaptation of his book '2 States. He said on Twitter: "Please don't believe any rumors about 2 states film. Good things take time. Loads of patience required to make a good film project."

So, all the book lovers across India, please get ready to read another master piece from Chetan Bhagat during this Diwali. Hopefully this book will match up our expectations.
All the Best Chetan!
