To reach around 480 million net users in China, the Chinese social-networking site Renren has signed an agreement with MSN, a Microsoft's venture, to provide better instant messaging and social networking facilities to its subscribers.

Both the companies are aiming to provide universal login access to both platforms and cross sharing of photos and status updates. The agreement would create significant level of integration between the two platforms.

Recently Microsoft said it will partner with Baidu to provide Baidu with English-language search.
