Recently state-run Coal India had taken over the top position form Reliance Industries as India’s most valued firm, and now PSU major ONGC has snatched RIL’s second position too.
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries now is the third most valued company in India at market valuation charts.
Coal India Ltd (CIL) maintained top position with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,50,580 crore, ONGC stands with a market valuation of Rs 2,38,528 crore, while RIL's market value stands at Rs 2,37,882 crore at the BSE.
Four years ago RIL had toppled state-run ONGC to become India's most valued firm, but has now slipped below the two public sector firms in terms of market valuation.
