Google Chrome is now the third most popular web browser in the world after Mozilla’s Firefox and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Study shows Google Chrome is gaining its popularity very fast with one in five users preferring it. Apple's Safari stood at the fourth place.
Google said the secret behind the success of Chrome lies with its speed of delivery results, its security and a new ad campaign.
The Google engineer who is responsible for Chrome, Lars Bak, said that Google’s aim was always speed. He observes users should "never be happy" with the existing speed.
