Mausam’s Special Screening for IAF Officials

Pankaj Kapur's directorial debut Mausam’s turbulence continues, the movie release got delayed by one week as the movie yet to get approval from the Indian Air Force.
Earlier the Indian Air Force raised strong objection over a particular sequence which as per them is harmful for country’s security.  Due to this Mausam had to be withdrawn from the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) line-up.

TIFF co-director Cameron Bailey tweeted, "So sad: MAUSAM won't make it to #TIFF11. Producers & Eros Entertainment apologize: Indian officials didn't approve film in time", adding, "MAUSAM ticket holders will get a full refund from #TIFF. The filmmakers in India apologize for cancellation."

Director Pankaj Kapur along with the lead actor Shahid Kapoor and the the producer of mausam now all set to arrange a special screening for the movie to officials from the Indian Air Force to seek necessary approval.

The movie Mausam, however, has been given a censor certificate by the CBFC.
