The Wall Street Journal suggests Bank of America Corp officials are considering roughly 40,000 job cuts during the first wave of a restructuring.
The discussion is going on restructuring of the bank by reduce workforce over a period of years. The board members will meet again on Friday to make final decisions on the reductions, putting the finishing touches on five months of work.
Bank of America officially made no comments.
