World’s biggest online retailer Amazon.com today announced that they have signed one sponsorship deal with largest telephone provider in US AT&T to offer a less expensive version of its Kindle 3G digital reader.
Amazon wants to compete with Barnes & Noble Inc's Nook and Apple Inc's iPad tablet. And therefore they are looking for more sponsorship deals like this.
Amazon’s e-book reader Kindle 3G which costs $189, allows readers to read without subscribing to a wireless network. After AT&T’s sponsorship, now the cost will come down to $139.
