Dell India to Introduce Latitude E-series and Tablet PC's Soon


PC-manufacturer Dell India has announced the launching of new Latitude E-series notebooks and new Tablets to meet the requirements of today’s dynamic workforce and the rapidly spreading workstyle of accessing anything and everything from anywhere and everywhere. These series will be based on the second generation Core processors of  Intel, codenamed Sandy Bridge, i.e. Core i3, i5 and i7 processors.

The new releases will include Dell Latitude E5420, E5520, E6220, E6320, E6420, E6520, E6420 ATG laptops and XT3 convertible tablet.

In a statement Vikas Bhonsle, General Manager - Public & Large Enterprise, Dell India told, “...with the new Latitude E series laptops, and significant design enhancements have been driven purely by those needs. With improved ergonomics, modular options, enhanced durability and enterprise-class security, these products stand out and continue to maintain the high standards of Dell, boasting a high rating of support features as well.”

The Operating System would be Microsoft Windows 7 and Dell India will give warranty of 1 year to 5 years , depending on the model, for the entire Latitude E-series and Tablet.

Latitude E series laptops will have 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, SATA Hard Drives as well as DVD-ROM, DVD+/-RW.

On some selected models HD camera and multi-touch-capable LCD panels will be available. The entire E-series will, in addition,  have NVIDIA Optimus GPU Solutions;  there would be solid Laptop tracking, enhanced data protection, and remote data deletion services as well.
