Godrej Launches "Music Refrigerators"

Godrej Appliances has launched a music-enabled refrigerator. The Godrej ‘Edge SX MuziPlay’ is the first music enabled refrigerator fitted with an MP 3 Player and FM radio. The refrigerators include a mobile charger with USB port.

The Godrej Edge SX MuziPlay refrigerators are available in 183 ltr and 221 ltr capacities and have 5-Star energy rating. They are priced in between Rs.12, 690 and Rs.15, 660.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Nandi, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Godrej Appliances said, "With the launch of India’s 1first music-enabled refrigerator, we have set another milestone in our srong legacy in R&D and are totally committed to pioneering nouvelle technologies to meet the changing needs of the Indian market."

The company has stated that it is targeting a 35 % growth in their sales in the year 2011-12 and that it plans to increase its presence in the retail market by opening around 15 to 20 exclusive outlets all over the country.
