Ferrari Enters the Indian Market with Fanfare


Ferrari, the famed Italian maker of luxury sportscars, made the much awaited grand entry into the Indian market yesterdeay, 26th May 2011. India is the 58th country in which Ferrari is officially present now.

The Shreyans Group has been appointed as the dealer for Ferrari cars in India.

Ferrari entered the Indian market with the official launch of models like California, 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano, and FF which is the latest in the Ferrari range.

The prices of the cars launched in india range from Rs.2.20 crore for California to FF which costs Rs.3.41 crore.

Amedeo Felisa, Chiuef Executive officer, Ferrari SpA, said on the occasion: "We are here for the long run. WE hope to sell more than 100 cars in the next 2-3 years." He added: "We expecct to beat our best-ever sales of 6,700 units achieved in 2007." Ferrari sold 6,500 cars across the world in 2010.
