After endless talk, leaks and buzz, at last Google officially announced launching of ‘Google +1’ yesterday. Google+1 represent a major push for the software giant and will give browsers an updated platform in the social networking spectrum.
There would be some unique concept in Google +1, among the sub-services is ‘Circles’. ‘Circles’ will allow users to selectively divide up which of their friends or followers can view which content. ‘Hangouts’ another service, will offers up multi-person video chat with members of users Circle. ‘Sparks’ is a customized feed aggregator of content one accumulate across the web, a modified version of RSS feeds.
There are some interesting questions popping in mind which we are looking for answers in the upcoming days. Is Google finally giving Facebook a run for its money? Or is this just the latest social flop from the company?
Google+ is still in a limited trial mode and has a few "rough edges," according to the company. The +1 button will be “expanding quickly to most other Google search sites” in the near future.
