Mahindra Satyam Declares 10-Times Higher Growth in Q2


Leading IT firm in India, Mahindra Satyam today registered a stunning result for the second quarter of 2011-12 financial year with 10 times growth at 238 crore (after tax) against last year’s 23.31 crore at the same period.




Banking on 36 new customers during this quarter, Mahindra Satyam's profit-after-tax is up 5.77% from Rs 225 crore in Q1 of the fiscal year 2011-12.

Mahindra Satyam’s Chairman Vineet Nayar told media, "Our growth momentum continues for the fifth consecutive quarter. As we come toward the end of our three-year transformation journey, it is indeed satisfying to see that all our key business performance indicators, such as growth, profitability and talent retention, are on course. We have shown significant improvement quarter-on-quarter in spite of an uncertain macroeconomic environment.”
