Tata Indica V2 Shifts to 'Economy' Mode – It is now Indica eV2


The hot selling Indica V2 of Tata Motors has a new avatar; it is more economical and is now christened Indica eV2, where 'e' stands for 'economy'.

Tata Indica eV2 costs Rs. 3.99 lakh. Going around with the tag line that reads "It’s your answer to rising fuel prices. It's your freedom to go places," it is the most fuel efficient hatchback around. But it has no AC and no power steering.

Indica eV2 is large for the small car segment. with its new 14-inch alloy wheels, this hatchback is perfectly built and eminently suitable for the Indian roads. It is fitted with the  CR4 diesel engine which is very fuel efficient and generates maximum power of 70 Bhp at 4000 rpm with maximum torque of 140 Nm at 1800 rpm.

Indica eV2 includes Bluetooth-compatible audio system, USB and Aux ports, single DIN music system, attractive interiors, alloy wheels, brighter lights, eye-shaped headlamps, headlamp leveller etc.

 Attention to safety is the norm with Tata Motors; issues of safety have been given the utmost priority and attention in the case of Indica eV2 as well, and the eV2 includes all the standard safety norms including child safety locks on rear doors.

 Tata Motors offers warranty for 24 months or 75,000 km (whichever is earlier) on this car.
